I just hope Zavvi's pre order system works as well as the likes of Play, Game & HMV all of which 9 times out of 10 do get you the game on the day of release and quite often even a day or so earlier

I'm not going to be happy if I end up reading how everyone is playing the game whilst I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered :mad:

Play get the games early? I've pre-ordered with them 3 times and every single time the game has been several days late. For that reason I would never pre-order with them. Gameplay are the only shop who have consistently gotten me games a day early :)
 
Only Batman AA came a few days late (I was hoping it would come on the Thursday but had to wait till the Monday) apart from that I've always got it either a few days early or at worst on the day of release

That's exactly the experience I've had. Always go with Game when I can. Had to order BC2 from amazon though @ £23...I'm sure it may turn up late but for that cash its worth it.
 
Yeah, I've got no problems with games being a couple of days late if they're stupidly cheap, but if I pay full price for a game I expect it to arrive on day of release or earlier :)

Think I've used Game for around 5-6 years now and I'm pretty sure I've always had games atleast 1 day early
 
Same i use GAME also all my pre-orders so far have been early, With play i tend to get them on the release date some times day or so after but i only use them for films so it never bothers me
 
not a fan of zavvi tbh, Friend pre-ordered a game 1 month early they took his money claimed they didnt even thou bank confirmed that they did put me off right away
 
I want to pre-order Heavy Rain but I can see it being <£30 a few weeks after launch.
