Here's some a mate of mine took in Afghanistan whilst on active service. He was a navigator on the AFSOC MC-130E Combat Talon I aircraft. This one isn't his, he was on the ground when this incident occured.
This MC-130H Combat Talon II was directed in to land by the air contoller. The thing is they directed them onto the wrong runway, and by the time they'd realised it was too late. The big bird touched down, hit that section of runway that was removed and literally bounced about 30ft into the air and then just belly flopped onto the tarmac where the impact caused the aircraft to burst into flames.
