Hey Guys,

What rating would you give the PS3 and Xbox 360 out of 10, on all aspects?
What rating would you give the Games and Packages(Price Wise, Graphics, Qauilty)?
What experiences have you had with the consoles bad and bad?
What are your views?

My Opionion Is:

PS3 :- 9/10 - Good Console, Cheap Pads, Need More Variety of Games.
360 :- 10/10 - Excellent Console, Great Games, Great Pad.

What would you rate it?

Regards,

- Matt.

360 :- 10/10

Bull****

I don't think any product with a failure rate as high as the 360 should ever, EVER be classed as perfect, even if it's 100% lovely in every area.

rate them on what? how good they are as a games machine? value for money? games for them? too vague.

It's never let me down before, so in my eyes it seems to be pretty pefect.

You must be able to see how ridiculously flawed it is though, as a piece of engineering and as a product.

The machine itself? Overall Package? Games?

For overall package as of this date:

PS3 4/10
360 7/10

I would say:

PS3 7/10
360 8/10

I have really enjoyed the games on my ps3, particularly f1 and the potential is there for the devs when they can suss out how to use all that power properly. I think it feels a very polished product.

The 360 is far better for online and that will sway it for a lot of people, only downsides are its loud and it breaks quite a bit :( It also has a larger games catalogue with gears etc

One thing is for sure though, the consumer is spoilt for choice, as both are very good machines in their own right :D

My 360 has worked fine since release so this shouldn't be an issue.

PS3 5/10 So far

I have Resistence, Motorstorm and F1. F1 is fantastic, looks great and you really feel like you're going fast. Resistence is decent, nothing special and Motorstorm I've played once so can't really comment on. The online side is ok and the little menu bar thing I find a bit strange, its whisper quiet though which is great. The pads are the things which annoy me the most, they feel too cheap, this is purely just down to the weight of them. I can't help feel that the games I have I would enjoy that little bit more with rumble.

360 9/10

Its been the most fun I've had with a console since I had the Saturn (loved that) The pad feels fantastic and pretty much every game I have I love. Arcade is awesome and Live can't be matched. Its loud which bugs me sometimes but you soon get used to it.

PS3 - 5/10

Ive not seen much, only what my friends shown.. ive not bein much impressed...

360 - 8/10

I dunno i just love it..live..games. etc. ;D

Agree with the above, except I give the ps3. 7.5 For having a much better interface than the 360.

Couldn't care less if yours is fine, the fact is there are a hell of a lot that aren't.

If he gave it 9/10 that would've been fine, but 10/10 is saying the massive failure rate is acceptable.

I own both and I am very happy with both.

They are however relatively early in their life cycle. If I was marking them on potential then they could easily be 10/10.

As it is I can only mark them on what they offer at this moment, though they will both have more than enough games/features added over the years to get close to the 10/10 mark.

The question is slightly unfair anyway, your asking to compare a system that has been out over a year, to one that has been out just over a week. So far mine is the only score that reflects that fact.

Zefan is anti-ms? :O

Not in the slightest, I'm trying to get a hold of a 360 right now infact.

Calling it perfect though is joke of the decade.

Zefan,

Other's may have had problems with there 360's, but I haven't. You may think it's a joke.. I don't. The 360 to me will stay perfect in my eyes, until there is a problem with it.

But this is our opinion of it. Mine has worked fine so reliability wise mine is perfect!
