Interesting isn't it that some people seem to be obsessed with 360 failure rates when no accurate large scale surveys have been made by indepdent organisations (small minded journalists trying to make headlines or fanboys don't count!) people seem to forget that such studies were made for the ps2 with conservative figures at almost a third of the hundred odd million units sold failing. As for my experiences with the consoles I own both and have owned every previous console going all the way back to 1977 and I have to say that the 360 is the first console to completely satisfy my needs, in terms of the steady supply of very high quality titles on a developing platform. It has even encouraged me to spend less time pc gaming which is a first. As for my large black dust collector all that seems to do is run folding at home very well. I bought resistance which i found to be a dull soul less experience that rips off just about every previous fps and sci-fi movie for the last 10 or 20 years and when combined with a rumble-less light weight controller that only disconnects you the experience further its very hard to feel excited about the platform. Sure motorstorm is pretty but I'd rather wait for DIRT which is bound to be a deeper more satisfying experience. And let us not forget the messy live experience on the PS3 (where's the headset??) it just isn't well thought out. Overall my current opinion of the PS3 is that it does a great job of summing up the sony gaming experience as a whole "an awfull lot of hype and hot air and not a lot to back it up" So as an owner of both platforms I would much rather buy 90% of my games on the 360 ie mass effect, guitar hero 2, forza 2, halo 3, bioshock, kane & lynch etc etc the list goes on, and use my ps3 for some blu-ray titles and the occaional game. But thats just my opinion
