your standard choice of keys

just noticed in another post a bit of stick being taken by a numberpad user for his choice of keys, which got me wondering about people's choice of keys.

it seems to be a choice of 3, either WSAD, Arrow keys or numberpad (not including zboard user's etc.) so if anyone can be arsed to type out the most frequently used keys, it may make some intresting reading (or not)

forward = 5
back = 2
left = 1
right = 3
jump = ./del
duck = 0/insert
reload = middlemouse
'nade = +
melee = mousebutton4
sprint = arrow right

other keys of note. 4+6 lean, 7.8.9 quick weapons
 
All keys as default in CS and HL

WASD, Space jump, Crtl crouch, Shift walk, tab scored, E use, Q last weapon, R Reload, numbers for weapons, mouse wheel up and down for weapons, left and right primary and secondary fire.

Or as close as I can get
 
Mine is the same as skeeter's with the addition of using Alt for prone. For games like GTA I use the sweet little button you get on some mouses which is by your thumb for manual aiming.

Then if it's a first person shooter I use the right mouse button for jump - comes from my Quake 2/3/4 days when you're always jumping around everywhere :) If jumping is less important than I use the Space bar instead.

Standard WASD
R = Reload
C = Crouch
X = Prone
Space Bar = Jump

all depends around the game but have all have the basics the same.

left str = <
right str = /
sprint = right shift
crouch = m
jump = space

yeah coz i smashed my UP ARROW key into a messy pulp. dont have numberpad keys on lappy.
 
The cursor arrow keys for movement as I'm a southpaw

right shift to jump, or numpad 0 in wow.
right crtl to crouch
R to reload
delete to autorun.
 
fwd - 8
left - 4
right - 6
back - 2
jump - del
crouch - page down
lean left - insert
lean right - page up
prone - End
Sprint - Right Shift

Fire - left mouse
Alt fire - right mouse
granade, reload and zoom - various permited mouse buttons.
 
forward = S
back = X
left str = A
right str = D
crouch = C
sprint = shift
jump = space
Lean = Q/E
Reload = R
Use = W or F

Those are my usual controls, may end up changing some depending on what is most used in specific games.
 
For a game such as Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the keys I use are as follows:

Forward - Forward Arrow Key
Backwards - Backward Arrow Key
Right - Right Arrow Key
Left - Left Arrow Key

Lean Left - A
Lean Right - D

Use - Enter

Fire - Left Mouse Button
Zooming in using a gun - Right Mouse Button
Reload - Shift

Jump - Space Bar
Crouch - Ctrl Button
Prone - Middle Mouse Button

Sprint - Delete
Melee Attack - Page Down

Steady Sniper Rifle - Number Pad 0 (Ins) and X (Depending on weather I'm leaning or not)
Standard Grenades - Number Pad 1 (End)
Special Grenades - Number Pad 2

And thats about it I think. :p
