your standard choice of keys

The WSAD'ers seem to be split over ctrl or c for crouch.

I go between both, depening on how many keys the game needs.

So CS for example, crouch, shift for walk... all good.

Americas Army or something complicated crouch goes to C so it lines up with X for prone. Ctrl goes to something unusual such as a non-toggle sprint or voip key.

What do you guys think... pinky for crouch for thumb for crouch?

I mean... you rarely walk (shift) and crouch (ctrl) at the same time, and in some games crouch jumping is called for for c,space is out.

What about middle mouse jump anyone? Seems to have died out with UT1
 
wasd - move
mouse 1 - fire
mouse 2 - zoom/alternate fire
shift - run
e - action
q - other action
mouse wheel - change weapons
mouse wheel left and right - lean
mouse wheel button - grenade
mouse 4 - command squad (playing too much mass effect!)
left ctrl - crouch

I think thats it.
