Your streams!

I capture with DXtory at 1280 x 720 @ 30FPS with RawCap

Then use Xsplit to stream to Twitch @ 1280 x 720 (Quality 10 - 3500 VBV max Bitrate)

Seems Ok to me and people think the stream is good.

I am new to the scene but may I ask why people would choose Twitch if Own3d was better?

I think Twitch.tv has a better community for MMO's, the reason i don't watch anything on Own3D is because it is overwhelmed with LoL streamers and that don't interest me. Twitch.tv has a lot of variety from old skool retro games to new games, oh and the ui and chat is better too.

Going to try your settings out. What fps do you get?

My connection is fine.

Depends tbh.

At the start of a fresh stream the FPS is as normal in game (approx 80-100fps), but after a while it starts to slow until I get about 50fps ingame & 30fps stream.
(Based on stream SWTOR)

I don't know if this is due to Xsplit or not as I've read lots of forum posts regarding Xsplit hitting FPS hard. I know DXtory is doing my decoding but my system can cope easily with that, but I think it's the streaming part that hurts it somewhat.

Still more than acceptable though.

If anyone is interested in watching an american progamer who plays terran and is currently GM MMR in korea, search for "imls" on twitch. He's an amazing player, and he uses really unique builds (he makes them all himself) for example he uses siege tanks in TvP. Also, he talks quite a lot about what he's doing and why he's doing it which is really educational, and quite often after a game he'll go through the replay and explain things. I've seen him beat MVPTails and give MKP a good challenge too. Not meaning to suond like the guys PR rep but I just think he's way underacknowledged, and also that people could learn a lot from him :)
