Your supergroup...

Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

I purposely didn't name them, in an attempt to lure someone knowledgeable, such as yourself, into the thread.

What are win strings?, vocals of win?
Clean up the superflous memes and it might make a decent list.

I think you mean superfluous, and win strings are basically string compositions/arrangements that sounds really really nice, again similarly; vocals of win are vocals that sound really, really nice.

Now tell me about your own super-group. I'm intrigued.

:D

Some great suggestions. And some terrible suggestions! (Shakira?!!) ;). Hendrix, John Bonham, slowhand, cash etcetc, so many people, such a small stage :D.

Already exists :p...

Beat me to it....

Off the top of my head it would go something like:

Drums- Joey Jordison
Bass- Robert Trujillo
Rhythm Guitar- Tom Morello
Lead Guitar- Adrian Smith
Vocals- James Hetfield

noel gallagher has a good voice imo. wouldn't want to hear a whole concert of oasis songs sung by him but he has sung on some of their best.

couldn't find the album version (which was a poor album) but this is a decent live version

Freddie Mercury.
Stewart Copeland - Drums.
Mark King - Bass.
Rythm guitar - Tom Morello.
Lead - Steve Vai.

My favourite drummer and unquestionably the best and most technically proficient of them all was Buddy Rich but I just can't see him in a supergroup.

Would Stewart Copeland have **** *** *** **** on his drums and angle his cymbals down?
