Have yet to do the NB and GFX

Mounted the pump at the side of the Akasa Eclipse it was a perfect fit. Also the wheel holes lined up perfectly with the pump holes so I just used a longer screw to bolt the pump to the case....No drilling.

The res is mounted on the side of the CD rom bays high up ...again a great fit.

Cut out the honeycomb at the bottom for one tube and secured with rubber washer for a nice fit and to protect the tubing.

Also I just cut the PCI slot away keeping the screw hole in place just in case i need to install a card.

ive heard that now they ship the kit with a pci plate with holes cut into it so you dont have to drill the holes am i correct also how easy is this kit to install for a first time watercooling setup. i thought about gettig cheaper kits that were like pre made. bu then i thought its a waste of money and mite aswell get the bees nees in watercooling.

I installed the Swiftech Apex into my old CM ATC 111 case a few months back. It did come with the PCI plate but I didn't bother using it.

Ive just installed this kit into my PC7, i drilled 2 holes for the pipes at the top/rear and it turned out fine.

Not got any pics yet but will take some today hopefully.

It's not exactly the Swiftech Apex kit but apart from the radiator which is a Black Ice GT Stealth II everything else is swiftech.

ye i will be installing this kit also into a pc7 does it fit ok. pictures would be great because help me to picture were the best place to put the pump e.t.c

I took the metal stand off my pump so I could squeeze it all in - was at too much of an angle with the stand. As such, it's kinda on its side, is that going to reduce it's pumping performance at all?

I've got it set up the same, radbox on the back, tubing goes through holes just above the 120mm fan mesh. Res in a drive bay (got the old version). Didn't use the pci thingy, the pci slots at the back are too thin for the tubing on my soprano.

Water cooling will alow better temps and less noise if done correctly :)

Setting up water cooling should not be a problem after all i can build a PC but its finding the correct water cooling solution for my LAN-li PC-V1000 plus case.

What would you go for ? :D

The Swiftech Kits are good solid Kits for first timers.

Has my conroe @3.8ghz nice and cool

Thanks for your reply easyrider i have virtually the same setup as you but i really want to know if it will fit with my current case.

:)

A view from the rear?

easyrider,

I have the same case and have been looking at this Swiftech solution. How about a pic from the rear ;) ?

I need to see how much of the PCI slots are blocked - I have a dual DVI out on my X1900 GT card (slot 2 from the top - which can't be moved), a PCI SCSI card as well as USB and Firewire connectors.

Thanks.

I can use the dual DVI out on my GFX card.
There is enough space to use any connectors you have.
