Usually your posts are good, however i just didnt think a picture of a turd is really acceptable for a family forum, not to mention the fact i was just tucking into a chicken curry :D

Half life 2 is a BBFC 15 so the shop would be breaking the law by selling it to him. Anyway usually when I go into a shop and buy a PC game they ask if I'm sure it'll run on my PC.
That hasn't happend to me once in my life

But it really expressed how I feel about Steam in a very clear and concise way ;)

I do not give two hoots about your opinion and whether it clashes with mine, however, the fact that it wasnt made clear at the very beginning of HL2 sales that HL2 needed an internet connection to validate is a valid point. No one expected it to need one but it has already been pointed out that it was in the minimum requirements.

I just find your mannerisms, your way of posting and your lack of any understanding of punctuation annoying. Everything that you type seems to be childish drivel and aimed to annoy someone. I am sure that i have read some decent posts from you when you first arrived but where are they now?

Been thinking about your reply for so time now and i have come to a conclusion your right i have been a total **** in the past soz to you and all but back on track now cheers.

bought the gold hl2 on steam ages ago, expensive to buy games and valve put so little effort into VAC that i just wont spend any more money with them unless it suits me.

**** out that word mate ;)

Needs work ;)

Ok

Steam...

Never had a problem with it, end of.

Cheap games, auto patch downloads and they are supporting some very small games out there(which is good, screw EA)

You know EA publishes Valve's games :p The boxed versions at least.

The fact that many forums are filled with arguments about Steam are proof enough to me that it is far from perfect.

I remember when I got HL2 that it took several days to get it to work, that was enough to put me off it.
I've also been reading the forums and the problems many people have had with RACE and the recent addon problems.

If they are taking your money the product should be reliable and at the moment it isn't.
There is a poll over ar RaceSimCentral asking you want RACE 07 to be released through STEAM and sofar it's 116 against and 90 for.

For me I want less programs running on my PC that way there's less to go wrong.
