Call of Duty 1 & Delta Force: Black Hawk Down (also tied) :)

Non FPS: GTA Vice City & San Andreas!

Very tough but

1) World Of Warcraft - PreTBC was probably the best game experience I've ever had. Being with friends on ventrilo everyday questing/PvP'ing together was just a blast. Started playing it again...

2) Diablo 1 - Best singleplayer RPG ever. Awesome atmosphere,music,setting and just terrifying.

3) Counter Strike - Incredible multiplayer FPS, godlike competitiveness. Good times!

1.Diablo 2
2.Neverwinter Nights
3.Quake 3
 
BF1942 - ground breaking in its time

BF2 - pushed the boundaries further

COD4 - one of the best "inf only" shooters ive played
 
Naming only 3 would be very difficult but here goes, off the top of my head (in no specific order):

NFS series (have played them all except Pro Street)
CS (started my off my online gaming)
GTA Series (a very defining series for pc gaming)

Would love to also mention a few more!
 
1. Elite 2 - Had it many years ago on the amiga then got it again years later when I had PC, no other single player game has had the amount of hours that I dedicated to this.

2. System Shock 2 - I know it's showing it's age these days, but back in the day I honestly had to stop playing this in the dark, the whole game oozed atmoshpere.

3 The Half-Life series - Not much to say about this other then I've enjoyed everyone from beginning to end.

For an honourable mention I would have to say Anarchy Online, pales in comparision to the likes of WoW these days, but it was my 1st MMORPG and I've always been more of a sci-fi fan then fantasy. I met some great people back in that game, most of which that I still keep in touch with.
 
1. Doom. blew me away when it first came out.
2.avp2. first game to properly freak me out and get the adrenaline pumping.
3.BF2. got me into online gaming.
 
Duke Nukem 3D - Adult movies, strippers and pipe bombs what else can you ask for?
Ultima Underworld - Looking at the gfx now I simply can't understand what was interesting about this game, but I loved the idea of finding stuff and upgrade my character. I am not into these games anymore but it was a time consuming and exciting experience.
CS/CSS - Multiplayer doesn't get better than this. Too many cheaters over the years, but besides that it is just addiction number 1 for me.
