Your top 5 bands ever

You can guess my age from my choices :-)

If it has to be a band, then maybe Led Zepp, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Nirvana if pushed

But Im far more towards (no order after Prodigy)

Prodigy
Slipmatt
Danny Rampling (early)
Judge Jules
Carl Cox
Grooverider
Andy C

Maybe a bit of fatboy slim to chill :-)

Split mine into artists and bands:

Jimi Hendrix
Björk
PJ Harvey
Chelsea Wolfe
Fela Kuti

Placebo
Thin Lizzy
Portishead
Alice in Chains
Siouxsie and the Banshees

Close: Bauhaus, Dinosaur Jr., Misfits, Rush, Scorpions, Screaming Females, Sex Pistols, Slowdive, The Clash, The Replacements

Mine (in no particular order) this is based on my small-ish CD collection I've built up slowly over the last 40 years.

Prince and whatever band name he chose in the 80's/90's :p
Dire Straits
ELO
Stolling rones ;)
Nirvana (cant believe Curt has been dead for over 30 years now)

It's quite hard, there are a lot of bands I really love.

I know it's mainstream and everyone likes them, but I think the first HAS to be Queen, for all of the time as a kid listening to them.

Second Pink Floyd, same reasons really, I'd actually take Pink Floyd over Queen if I had to pick one.

Next up, relatively new band (ish) is Ghost, I love the style of music, quite broad spectrum of rock music.

...and I think Journey needs to be in there, because I can listen to Journey all day.

Last one is tough, nearly Aerosmith, The Darkness, very nearly GnR.... But I gotta say Steel Panther, based on the fact I seen them live 6 times and they are just such good fun live, plus the music is awesome.

Queen
The Prodigy
Credence Clearwater Revival
The Cranberries
Limp Bizkit

These come to mind at the moment. I listen to quite a lot really and plenty of genres but nothing really post 2010. I can be listening to country and western one week then hardcore gabber the next!

If I had to pick a single one it would be Queen.

I'd probably have to base this on bands where I always have at least one or two of their songs on a playlist:

Linkin Park
Queens of the Stone Age
Rammstein
Slipknot
Electric Callboy

I've been a fan since 2014 and I've just watched the concert film Rite Here Rite Now 4 times over the last few days.

Yea I saw it at the cinema.

Is it available in some form on streaming service or something now?

I wouldn't mind seeing it again, I was driving and took the Mrs, but very much want to watching it at home where I can have a few orange juices.
