Having problems installing the Magpie extension from Ben Goodger's site. It doesn't like 1.5.0.6. Is anyone else running the extension on 1.5.0.6?

Also Fwibble.org is down/inaccessible so I can't get FireFox 1.5 Memory Optimiser 1.1.1 or Text2URL.

Could anyone email these extensions if they have them and explain how to get Magpie working with FF 1.5.0.6? Cheers in advance if anyone can.

Sorry 'bout that matey, web host died. Moved host now :D

can't believe how little of you are using adblock plus and filterset g

gets rid of adverts on pages, 10x better then..

also, customizegoogle is a very good one, tells you how many search results you'll get in google when seraching

gmail notifier is also awesome (way better than the windows based one)

download statusbar is cool, has the downloads in the status bar instead of manager

i've just decided to switch from netscape 7.2 to firefox (which i use at work) - yes, i know i'm a bit slow
one think i would like though is a Bookmark tab in the toolbar (like netscape has) (i know its already in the menus at the top but hey, i'm so used to netscape i would still like a big-ass 'bookmarks' just above my tabs) ;)

I suppose this is a good a place as any to ask this question seen as your all firefox fans. I have jjust installed the latest firefox + a few extentions. However im finding that internet pages take longer to open in firefox than internet explorer. What usually takes about 1/2 seconds to fully load takes 2-10 seconds. Any ideas?

It's probably worth trying the FasterFox Extension, which worked well for me.

Ive already got that?

Oh ok.. That's strange that it still seems slower than IE.. as I was actually impressed with FF when I made the change over a long time ago. Not sure what the problem is then sorry.

;)

As I've already said I had some problems with the Magpie extension from Ben Goodger's site. Well today I investigated the extension again and found a current version here.
