Your top boxer and why ?

Muhammed Ali or Mike Tyson for me. Not a big sports spectator these days. Too expensive with all the subscriptions and pay-per-view stuff. It's a shame boxing and many sports (Athletics aside) in general are now so expensive to watch. Back in my day there was only ITV or BBC vying for the viewing rights.

Mike Tyson, during his prime his nickname of baddest man on the planet was well deserved. It was a shame Cus D'Amato died in 85 and Don King got his claws into him, you could see his peak-a-boo technique started to be used less and less.

Ali or Tyson for me, but I’d probably lean toward Tyson, his power and speed was just ridiculous at his peak. That said, Ali lost some of his best years. I love the respect they had for each other.

I'm going for Liston because nobody else will and his name deserves to be up there

He is certainly one of the best heavyweights of them all. Mean, moody, H bomb puncher and had a Tyson like ability to psychologically beat his opponent before the opening bell.

It's just a shame that his private life was a train wreck and his ties to the mob never let him get to his full potential. We might have seen something else if he did not have so much baggage. It is sad to think he died such tragic circumstances.

The word tragic sums it up really well.

Always been a fan of watching repeats of Sugar Ray Leonard's bouts.

In my time watching, probably Pacquiao but I imagine soon to be surpassed by Naoya Innoue who is incredible to watch.

In terms of lower level closer to home stuff, watching Stevie McKenna is always entertaining.

Mike Tyson in his Prime.
Been watching a few of his old fights, and training videos, man could he dodge and punch. And that uppercut of his was like being hit by a train for his opponents.

Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, I used to love watching those guys fight.

When it comes to British fighters, Honeyghan beating Don Curry was a great individual performance, Eubank before his devastating fight with Watson brought some razzmatazz to the ring.

Top two for me though, Calzaghe no explanation required, Lennox who’s career could have been even better if it wasn’t for Don King scared to have a British boxer holding all the titles.
