Hi all,

New side "woman" for this valentines, and I'd like to do something a bit old school and create a sort of "mix tape" for her. I will burn the CD, but just using Spotify as a staging area.

What kinds of cool tracks should go on here?

I've got things like:

Biffy C - Re-Arrange
TGS - Million Dreams

Then some more trance / dance style stuff like
Lost Witness - Happiness Happening
Bass Hunter - I Promised Myself

She loves 90's, 00's dance anthems, so ones that had good "lovey" style lyrics would be a win, but also more modern things like Zayn - Dusk 'til Dawn, etc

Looking for ideas
 
Perfect Day by Super8 & Tab is one of my favourite trance tunes of all time. The MRSA DnB remix is also exceptionally good and in many ways I actually prefer it (can be found on the Empire remixed album).

Mat Zo's remix of the Tritional track Lifted is also an incredible piece of electronic music but again, it's got a liquid DnB vibe so might not be slow enough for her. You could go for the original trance version but it's nowhere near as good in my opinion.

Pretty much anything of the Group Therapy album by Above and Beyond, On My Way To Heaven being one of the more lovey tunes.

I'm really more of a DnB guy and can recommend a metric ton of great liquid tunes with the right sort of vibe. Just depends on whether she's into that sort of thing.

2 things.

1. The wording of your post makes it sound you are asking us to help you cheat on your other half, and...

2. The last time I made a mixtape was when I was 15. Surely to goodness you can think of something better.

That tune was absolutely amazing back in my youth!
