Your work uniform

Shorts and t-shirts with flip-flops in summer, jeans and t-shirt in winter.
Would hate to work in a place with a dress code.

We wear proban navy trousers and work shirt (mine is far too big lol) and any t-shirt/fleece under it. Also a white hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs and black safety boots.

I change in work.

You can wear anything under your workshirt/trousers and jewellery is permitted although I don't wear any as it could get caught in machines etc.

Same :p

Having worked for a corporation where shirts/trousers were a necessity for 7 years, moving to a company with no dress code was weird!

The first 2 months I persisted on wearing shirts/trousers, eventually I caved in and wear shorts/tshirts/jeans/flip flops etc!

Jeans, T-shirt, trainers... basically whatever I feel like that morning.

I will now turn down a job offer based on dress code. There is no reason in this day and age why non customer facing staff need to wear a uniform or a suit and tie except for safety reasons.

This minus the shorts and flip flops.

I have no dress code and hate places that do.

Dark blue scrubs, black crocs, assorted bodily fluids (optional). We can wear whatever shoes we want, crocs, MBT trainers and birkenstocks are the usual. Hair above collar level, change at work, no jewellery except a plain wedding band and a single pair of stud earrings are the main rules. Baggy jumpers also optional. Far more scruffy than the rest of the hospital in general.

there is no dress code as such but arms and legs must be coverd in the lab.

i just wear a shirt, trousers and safety boots. ties are not alowed in the lab as they can dangle through a lab coat.

some wear a polo shirt and jeans but when i started the job i came smart so ive stuck to it.

Surgeon?

This, minus the dust mask, wear the safety glasses the odd time.

Im a nurse but in intensive care so I get to wear scrubs. I have particularly strong opinions on nurses and their uniforms.

I hate seeing nurses in uniform in shops like tescos its unprofessional and nasty.
The attacks on nurses going home from work are picked because of the allure of their uniform and status.
in my opinion all nurses should be in scrubs, it would force them to change at work, it would mean that if you have a spillage or are covered in body fluids then you simply change into new ones. you would appear to the public as another member of the public out of work decreasing chances of being attacked or being recognised.

there are more reasons but these are the main ones.

Nope very casual in my workplace ie jeans, top and trainers. As long as we look decent ie dont turn up in trackies or pj's my boss is pretty cool.

I usually wear a nice pair of jeans, a top either a hoodie or sweater in the winter and in the summer a polo t shirt and trainers to work.

Like i said very casual unless i have clients coming in for meetings then its a suit, tie and shoes.

web developer here I just walk in to work wearing pretty much whatever I want, if we have a client meeting I'll usually wear a shirt, and some pants. A part from that it's all very casual.

I actually wear slippers during the winter.
