Averaged over 5 days, it would be either 9.6, or 7.2 - I do 12hr shifts 7 days and 7 nights a month, 8 till 8 (Mon-Thurs days, Thurs-Sun nights, Fri-Sun days, Mon-Weds nights over 4 weeks).

Every third month I do shorts for a month (week of 8-4pm Mon-Fri, then a week of 12-8pm, then repeat) so 8 hour working days for that.

Lots of time off when on shift, although working nights and recovering/switching to day pattern robs me of a good chunk of them.

I used to be a warehouse manager in two very large companies.

Both had me working extraordinary long shifts but I liked it.

I could have probably got away with working far less. Maybe 70-80 hours but I really enjoyed the jobs as there was always some emergency or catastrophe to sort out or deal with.

Like broken down lorries or lorries not returning on time to be reloaded or emergency deliveries for shows and stuff.

What happened that you ended up in a wheelchair?

One of the guys in my office worked from 10am on Thursday to 7am on Friday... he went to his hotel to have a shower and was back in the office by 9am... he was still at work when I left at 6.. uh!

Contract says I work a 'professional day'
I usually aim to be in the office between 8 and 8:30, then leave between 5:30 and 6.
If there's something urgent that needs to be done I'll stay a bit later or log on from home in the evening, but thankfully that's pretty rare.
