Appetizer: Some of those things my brother made a while ago. Thin slices of baguette with Chorizo, Basil, Brie and a smoke balsamic vinaigrette. Served with a nice lively, cold white wine.. maybe even a Cava.
Main: It'd have to be a roast dinner made by my mom. Belly Draft with a little bit of chicken on the side (and american mustard for dippin'), plenty of peas, carrots and well seasoned green cabbage. Lots of parsnips with nothing to sully their natural taste... I hate parsnips roasted in honey! The gravy would have to be made from beef and last but not least, perhaps the most important part of the meal, the potatoes would have to be roasted in lamb fat. I'd wash it all down with Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dessert: Banoffee Pie made by my sister and a wee dram of single malt such as Bowmore.
I am now kind of depressed and really hungry.
