£600 for such a big screen seems like pretty good value to me?

It is actually very good value being IPS also. The outgoing 40" model was a big hit, be interesting to see if this follows in its place as that model is now end of life and stock is all but practically gone.

Awesome monitor, but can't help but feel that Philips have missed a trick here. If it had Freesync then it'd sell double/triple figures!!!!

Shame, but still damn nice

I guess if we were to picky, it still lacking Freesync despite being a newer monitor replacing the old one.

I shall ask them if it is even remotely possible or if they plan a firmware update on another model supporting this. But Philips tend to not get involved in the gaming scene at all, they just happen to have some really nice high quality product that is fit for gaming as well as professional work. :)
