Its been a problem for a while in science tube

Eventually we'll end up in a dark forest if something isn't done to prevent AI content

It can't be cheap for youtube to store all that "fake" content on their servers that will grow exponentially and eventually be viewed more by other AI bots trawling for content to copy than actual humans who are needed to pay the bills through advertisements

You forget the bot farms that exist watching youtube/spotify to clean money

It's rumoured a lot of the big unknown artists on spotify are just criminals cleaning money, probably explains the rise in incredibly crap untalented artists

a lot of them are literally telling you about another video, and instead of showing the video because their channel will get demonetised they give a running commentary instead...
But when you search for the actual video all these crappy channels get priority for some reason

YouTube really is the sewer now.

Capitalism doesn't promote quality, it promotes quantity to the lowest common denominator.

I wonder if there will ever be a shift back to quality for "free content" even paid content is kinda too generic these days, niches seem to have died for mass appeal and everything suffers because of it.
