im going to start a youtube channel about politics (boring i know but i find politics really interesting!)

anyway... i have designed a two logos but one has an extra bit to show its more UK focused... which one shall i use?

I'm not very good at photoshop so please dont judge the image too harshly, ive hardly used this program before!

The extra text being black doesn't match as well as it could with that font.
Would keep the colour scheme blue/grey, but think it looks good.

Maybe this font type: http://www.dafont.com/champagne-limousines.font

Nice simple design, the HH in the logo does get lost though but can work.

put a union jack on it..... around the currently silver border.

hmmmm i dont want the union jack flag as i think it will look cheap and UKIP ish

ill reposition the newspaper ... i just used the clipping mask tool and left it where it was... but i agree looking at it now looks misspelt

i was wondering myself whether the HH logo looks lost.... glad you pointed that out.... i think ill change the opacity a bit more. I tried using a stroke around the HH but i didnt like the look of it.

Remove it. It makes it feel London centric. Which most people think is the problem with modern British politics. The raised fist is making a bold statement too specifically in regards to the agenda of what the contents of the channel will be about. Are you a socialist? Do you belong to any republican terrorist organisations? If not, get rid of it. Or include the Labour, Tory, Libs and other logos if you keep it. That way everything is included.

It actually looks pretty good to say you've not got much experience with PS. It's certainly better than a lot of the others on Youtube, and even if you're not happy with it you can change it down the line. It's the content that counts.

changed it a little as i wanted the channel name and not mine
although now i dont like the centre of the logo anymore... but i dont know what to put there.

i just rendered that quickly so its longer than needed

Maybe I worded myself wrong. I don't want the union jack flag on it as I think its too common to put a flag on a design and call it a day. It would also look like an affiliate of ukip (which I honest don't mind) but I've always been centre and would like to cater for everyone.
