Youtube getting slower ?

I have found I can stream happily 1080p videos, then between 10 and 11pm (sometimes as early as 8, but less often) I have to switch down to 720p, then down to 480, then 360, then stop viewing as the night goes on. While at first I thought this was because of everyone starting to dl at 10pm etc, I have done multiple speed tests when its not working and they all give me full bandwidth, and other sites are fine.
 
Tests on there site show its streaming terrible speeds yet my 50mb works perfectly cant even buffer simple videos without waiting youtube has been slow for a few weeks now :(
 
Your average video speed at this location from 20 February 2010 to 18 March 2010 was 14.63 Mbps.

What do I win?? :p

Having youtube probs here, and ONLY youtube. Even smut sites stream fine, and you know they're getting hammered. ;)

Checked the links above and found that my ISP is not even indexed (here in Detroit). :eek:

Getting frames dropped like mad (100+ in 3 minutes). FPS is 30, but bitrate is hanging around 300k. :/

I can stream Netflix 720p wireless to my PS3 without a single drop. Why is youtube so different?
 
Still messed up :(

Waiting for a 6 min 1080p clip to load. Only getting 10-30KB/s which is disgusting.

I've been buffering for 15 minutes and its only buffered 1/10th of the clip.
 
I was having serious problems with youtube not buffering a few weeks ago. In the last couple of weeks though i've found it to be a lot better :)
 
Since they changed the layout of the player i've had no problems at all lol. Even right now downloading a file at 111KB/s and VM broadband traffic management is on so DL is only 2.5Mb/s
