what I hate is when the video sometimes refuses to continue playing if I skip ahead or go back by clicking on the timeline![]()
Or, it's loaded move the slider and it's reloading again over and over everytime you move the position slider.

Someone in there asked if it's possible to redirect youtube at router level?
Tried using https and it works for some but not all.

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

I get that quite frequently when my internet is being a tit.
As do I. My connection can do 480p fine (720p can cause a bit of buffering) but despite that, it still almost always auto-sets itself to 360p or 240p.
They used to let you select your desired quality and it'd always play that, it's a shame they removed it.
