Yeah. I'll take a slot for £40 a year if anybody has one. Happy to pay upfront or setup a SO.
Cheers.

Been there, done that.I tried YouTube without premium after having it for 5 years - didn’t survive a day.

" Your YouTube Premium membership was cancelled because we believe that the subscription country of Algeria was inaccurate.

I need 3 accounts worth so I thought that was for an actual family plan!
I've noticed "Playables" appear in my Youtube feed today. They look like mini games/versions/clones of existing handheld games, at a quick glance.
Is this a new feature for premium users, or am I seeing it because i'm in the UK at the moment?

I just RDP'd to my computer in Spain, just to double check, and I can't see it on there, but I can on my phone and laptop in London! So maybe it has been around for ages and is not in Spain for whatever reason. I use YT heavily enough that it's almost impossible it wouldn't be shown to me unless it was country specific! Not a new feature but it only appears sporadically in my feed for no real rhyme or reason. I can't tell you how long it has been in the Explore menu list.
I tried some out what feels like a few months ago so it has been around a while. The ones I tried were awful though.I just RDP'd to my computer in Spain, just to double check, and I can't see it on there, but I can on my phone and laptop in London! I tried one, to be fair the graphics seemed HD/crisp/shiny, but they are just low budget minigames. The type of stuff that was big in the Macromedia Flash days!I tried some out what feels like a few months ago so it has been around a while. The ones I tried were awful though.
Yeah, at least Netflix did invest in quality games and try to make it a bit of a perk. What YT were thinking with this, I really have no idea. I can't imagine anyone is playing them and thinking it makes the sub worthwhile... and surely even kids would rather just play Fortnite. Who knows.I tried one, to be fair the graphics seemed HD/crisp/shiny, but they are just low budget minigames. The type of stuff that was big in the Macromedia Flash days!
First Netflix, now YT. Just stick to video and leave gaming to someone else!
