Hi guys,

One of my machines won't view Youtube videos properly. They play but there is a ridiculous amount of bufferng - you are lucky if you get 3 seconds of playback before it pauses, buffers, then plays again.

This would point to internet issues. But...

None of the other machines on the network this machine is on, and thus the same internet connection, have any problems. I've even tried swapping the machine from Wireless to Wired directly into the router yet the problem still occurs.

Any ideas?

my pc has always done this intermittently!

it turns out that its firefox. why i dont know but whenever it does it, i can play the same video in explorer just fine.

Is it just Youtube? Have you tried streaming flash videos anywhere else? If it's the same on other websites then i guess you could try re-installing flash.

I have the same problem.

I am going to try Opera though. Internet Exploder seems to play the videos properly.

Might not be relevant, but I had major issues with streamed videos not playing. My problem was that flash was screwed up. Reverting to an older version resolved for me.
