I have to agree with you there, there was no need for the rider to stop like that, all he had to do was coast and the car ahead would have moved into the lane without any trouble.
I looked back over a few pages and couldn't see this so here's some incredibly dumb people in London for you all 
I'm hoping these were just the ones that didn't know the answers and they've got got lots more with people getting them right but I wouldn't like to put a great deal of money on it!
