Think people are trying to read way too much into this, BBT wasn't trying to be smart/clever just a childish pain in the ass.
All performers get the option to do interviews (it's what helps sell their material), they aren't forced to do them so if they do choose to attend they should at least be polite assuming the interviewer is also doing the same.
If he didn't like the questions then why not move the conversation towards what the band wanted to put across about their music instead of all that stupidness?
The looks on the faces of the other band members clearly showed they weren't impressed either or in on some sort of higher genius.
Yes it may be 6am in the morning, it is early but LOADS of people work at this time without bitching and moaning, your drums may be heavy/bulky but just pay someone to move them for you (not as if he is short of a few quid).

This is a band who have made three albums in the last year alone, "yes this is a band with ambition" with a smirk.
Secondly, their principal songwriter, singer and drummer is billy bob thornton whose OTHER JOB "some of the time" is oscar winner, actor, and director, whilst billy bob thorntons name is most often linked to his cinematic endeavours the boxmasters is anything but a diversion from the silverscreen (billy bob thornton shakes his head) he's always intended to make music.

Dont you think they get tired of every interview they bring up billy bob thorntons acting career? hes not there to promote a film hes there as a musician

Gave it a watch through - could understand why BBT didn't want his past career linked to this new one, I can imagine in his eyes he was using his past celebrity status to boost his next project and he didn't want to do that. However, the way he reacted was a bit odd, and I thought kudos to the presenter as many others would just bottle it in that situation.

I can't imagine he has much talent as a drummer either but that'd be a guess.
DJ is not the greatest either but BBT is acting like a spoilt child; he should know what to expect and if he doesn't want to be there, ....... stay in bed.

But do you really think they'd be there is BBT wasn't a well known actor? You can hardly expect an interview not to cover what he is actually famous for rather than some unknown musical act!
