From the info at hand on various sites the bikers were the ones causing problems, driving erratically and suddenly braking ahead of cars making the drivers slam on the brakes.

This is what I thought.

Unless something happened before the video started, it looked like the bikers were provoking the Range Rover, at 0:20 one of the bikers pulls in front of him to force him to break, for no apparent reason, they then blocked him from going ahead, in my eyes the driver probably panicked and hit the gas, which is when they got run over, then they tried to attack them.

Something may well have happened before the video starts, but from what I can see the bikers started the incident, not to say that it makes running someone over okay.

~40 bikers attempting to box in and force stop a single vehicle with the guy's wife and kids in? I would have done whatever was needed to get away too.

EDIT: After seeing some other photos, there were way more than 40 bikers.
