That seems like a good idea for making a bicycle a more practical means of transporting a person while keeping it like a bicycle rather than a low-powered electric motorbike, but one thing struck me as potentially worrying - it sounds like you'd have a powered bicycle with the motor controlled remotely by signals in the standard phone range.
They're US$700, so probably about £450-500 here. Pricey unless you actually use it. Also, the battery is very stealable. They're not cheap and they're easily removed (which is a good thing in itself).
I want one, though I wouldn't use it enough to make it worth the money to me.
Yeah I thought that too. I would have thought that toffs who live in the country side would maybe use these instead of their butler ferrying them about.
