Kevin Richardson, a zoologist and conservationist who's trying to raise public awareness of the dramatic decline in lion population. They're not endangered yet, but they soon will be. He works very closely with lions (and other big cats), starting from when they're cubs so that they become used to him over time and accept him as a friend. There's a startling degree of acceptance, to the extent that he's fine sleeping with them when they have their midday snooze.
