thats the main reason most people reject and shoot down information like this, because they cant be bothered to look into it themselves. so they just quickly come to the conclusion of "nah it wont happen this modern time and we are modern man" lol

They're both in the business of scaremongering just at different ends of the spectrum, but at least mainstream news websites are legally held accountable for the claims they make. What I want is links to studies and reports and the sources that have been used to come to the conclusions and make the claims.
