I saw something like that on a TV programme, probably Bizarre ER...I think it was someone who had a nosebleed that wouldn't stop and you wouldn't believe how much absorbent rag etc., they pulled out, it went on and on!

I think it had been packed in at a hospital abroad and then taken out in the UK, it was a temporary measure so they could get home.
