I believe that's what Kim Dotcom's lawyer is arguing in the video. It's ridiculous that the American's can mount that kind of operation in a country that isn't their own after pressure from the MPAA or RIAA.

It seems like they (The US government) want to treat piracy like they do the drugs trade. But it's making them look completely ridiculous and there will be a huge backlash quite soon.

There already is in NZ and around the world. It's not going to plan for the US or NZ authorities. The high court ruled recently that the search warrants were illegal.
