My only issue is that she will be taking up space that someone who's more deserving and can contribute more could use, 100 years down the line we can have space tourism but at this stage of human evolution we need all the scientists up there we can get.

At the moment I can't see how Sarah Brightman can further humanity from space. All she ever did is look a bit fit in the 80's

Exactly. On the plus side she'll go into the record books as having the lowest IQ in space - this takes into account all the apes, birds and bacteria that have been up there already :D
