^ We are many decades away from that, certainly not in the working lifetime of anyone on this forum right now, even the youngest among us.

People keep making the same mistake again and again thinking multipurpose robots are just 20-30 years away from being in our homes/working lives. The reality is that we are at lest a century away from this

Old video I stumbled upon, thought it was pretty cool how obvious the jump in computing power was during the late 90s
