A very interesting TED presentation from a group that my team are working with. They use image processing to magnify differences in videos (which is very cool in itself) but then they progress it further to get sound from motion. In the end they demonstrate that they can 'hear' sounds recorded by observing motion on an empty crisp packet from 15 feet away and through soundproof glass. Freaky stuff.
I'm finding Cody's Lab interesting. He's done a series on recovering various metals from various things. Here's a video on extracting gold from computer parts:
It is about gold, not copper. The copper was extracted as part of the process of isolating the gold from the other materials.
This really is a must listen as the levels of tard are off the scales. The host has to restrain himself from laughing as the argument this inbred is putting forward is ludicrous at best. Sounds like he's a few sandwiches short of a picnic as well.
