This is pretty interesting.

That was worth 20 minutes. I hadn't realised just how much the large roundshield was a weapon. I had thought it was used mainly for blocking and only secondarily as a weapon (and then only really for unbalancing and reinforced punching), but his explanations and demonstrations make it clear that it's much more of a weapon than that.
