*** Youtube/Video thread ***

everything is just a confusing mess. Shame really, would be nice to see a story from the chaos perspective.

the warp creatures flickering in and out was a nice touch but the woman and baby thing made absolutely no sense.

The story goes. Chaos invaded the Ultramar hold worlds after a long and huge battle, the chaos forces was finally defeated and driven away with the Ultramarines chasing them and finally bordering a few of the ships, but in the chaos of battle and warp, the bordering was a semi-failure with most of the Ultramarines defeated, caught while some are still fighting in the ship somewhere, bear in mind, these ships are huge, city size spaceships spanning for miles in all directions.

The women and baby has been corrupted by "chaos". Travelling in the "warp" or as the Immaterium which allows spaceships to travel great distances in a fast time is the realm of chaos and as such, is full of dangers. while spaceships are protected by shields known as "voidshields" it's not 100% protection and as such, weak minds can be corrupted, especially on a chaos warship which is already home to demons and demonic forces and as such, the mother and baby have been corrupted by the forces of chaos, but she is still strong enough to live and not die like most others.

You previous see the women and baby in one of the trailers running away from the forces of Chaos between a almighty battle.

I can explain other things if you confused on anything.

is there an backstory to this somewhere? I know the general workings of warhammer with void shields etc etc. Just seemed like the the “film” started in the middle of a story that hasnt been explained.

So it's set during Horus Heresy and the Battle of Calth, the first trailer shows the battle on the ground for this, second trailer slowly leads into the Death of Hope part 1.

Battle of Calth was when Chaos invaded the planet and other Ultramar homeworlds to try to destroy the entire legion, but failed, the chaos forces fled with the Loyalist forces chasing them.
