This person bought a ghost town. A long abandoned mining settlement in the middle of nowhere in a mountainous desert part of the USA. They moved in. For the first time in >100 years, the place was populated. Population: 1. That was 2 years ago. Recently other people have been in town, so this person felt the need for solitude and hiked out to an even more remote ghost town for a visit.


EDIT: bah, I just noticed that the thumbnail for the image is inaccurate. The cabin shown in the thumbnail isn't abandoned. Other cabins in the video are, but that one has a few vistors per year who do some basic maintainence work as a courtesy to other hikers.

I've been watching this guy since the beginning, although not watched in a few months now. It has been interesting seeing him change from a fairly normal person to what you would expect a hermit in an old sestern to be like :)
