I think we all know this is clearly a SCAM!

Who in their right mind offers to buy a car without seeing it...??

...and he's offering £7200 - When the car is up for £6950.!

This has SCAM written all over it.

Someone I know experienced something very similar... He received the Bankers Draft... when he took it to the bank - They told him it was a fake.

Merlin - all previous posts suggest you felt that it was a scam and that it was really dangerous to go ahead. Then your last post seemed to support the idea that any bank could spot a fake.

That's correct.

I've suggested it's a scam and also suggested you can ring a bank to check up on a suspect draft.

Quite how that's "changing my tune" I'll never know.
