I'm considering buying one of the new BT YouView boxes (direct from JOhn Lewis). I've read that you can record Sky Sports channels and simply watch them buy purchasing a Sky Sports day pass with NowTV. Can I do this with an off the shelf box?

well .. nowtv and youview are separate types of viewing box ... I know you can get nowtv on pc and games consoles , not sure if that same service is available on youview ... think you have to subscribe for a month tp get sports on it ... will do some digging tho
