Not brilliant pictures, but you get the general idea. There is some a trace of backlight bleeding on the right hand edge, though it is very minor compared to the amount I used to get from my old 19-inch Benq.

Blacks show up as proper black; colours are bright and vivid.

If these pics are too large and not auto-resizing (which they should) then please let me know and I'll swap them out with some smaller ones.

:)

You mean the actual width of the monitor, not just the screen?

Physical size of the monitor is 22.3 inches wide, 15.5 inches tall (not counting the stand). If you include the stand, it's about 18 inches tall.

It just fits into my desk hutch. :)

Another very happy owner here.. Used an i1 calibrator and it's been absolutely fantastic for photo editing.. Miles ahead of my old 22" tn panel. No dead pixels and 1920 x 1200 is very usefull.. Though it now does have me seriously considering A 30"..

Only problem I have is when waking the computer up from sleep (In Vista 64) the monitor will sometimes drop the picture.. Which sometimes returns with a quick blast of the mouse, but sometimes won't return untill I unplug it at the wall! As usual hardware blames software and vice versa.. If anyone has any ideas I would be very appreciative :)

Where did you guys get your monitors from? I was thinking of getting on from Ari* and for £29 you get a dead pixel check.

Also if you hold Menu and the + button what panel do you have in them I want one with the SA-LTM240M2-L01 in it.

thanks in advance

Email in Trust. I simply bought mine and crossed my fingers. It worked: no dead pixels for me! :D

When I hold Menu and +, I get: LG-LM240WU3-TLA1. Which apparently means that it's a TN panel. :(

Still, the viewing angles seem remarkably good for a TN; it's only when I look at the picture from below that the colour distorts badly. Side and top-down views are surprisingly clear.

If TNs are still supposed to be good for gaming due to excellent response times and less chance of ghosting, then I've been well served by the £203 (delivered) that I spent on this monitor. It's not a premium product, but it meets all my expectations and does everything I need it to do, which is just what I wanted.

is it too bright?

Not for me. You can always adjust it, anyway. :)

I presume these do not have 1:1 scaling? I'd like to play a ps3 at 1080p rather than stretched :/

No, they don't have 1:1 scaling. However, they do have HDCP.

Oh?! As far as I was aware, all the Yurakus were P-MVA. This is disappointing news indeed.

I also thought they were all P-MVA. It was on this basis that I chose the Yuraku over the DGM.

Yes, I was disappointed when I realised that the screen was only TN. But to be fair, I only paid £203 delivered, and for that price you should expect a panel lottery. In any case, it's good enough for my purposes.

I love the piano black finish, and the lower trim looks much better now that I've peeled the logo off.

:)

:(Damn this was my next purchase as the DGM one I ordered also had this panel.
I found the viewing angles awfull tbh so I've sent it back.
Looks like the OCUK one is the only guarenteed to be a VA.
Any idea when they will be special offer again?

Well, Now i've seen the posted pictures of this yuraku

It's the same as the DGM 24"

Only difference i can see is the silver outer-most bezel and of course the hdmi, All else (stand included) matches the dgm

Didn't realise these came in TN versions

jamesy, Sorry thought it was on special but isn't (hence edit)

(drive from derby mate when it's on offer, any prob you can then driver it back to exchange ;) )
