Hi All

My logitech z-5500 Sub is broken I've changed the fuse no problem there just not sure if replacing the Control Pod will do anything or a new Sub is needed.

Cheers

Thanks a lot CB

I've got a Xonar D2X with these Speakers and on another site someone was saying going to the Xonar MCE folder and change the settings there.

The thing is i can get into the settings but the Htm page won't let me click on options to change anything like allow Sub Woofer Output.

Will they work with the onboard sound from your motherboard? Thats what I would check to rule out the Xonar being at fault.

Search the forum for Logitech Customer Services, many of us have had things replaced free of charge.

When i had problems with my z5500's they sent me a complete new set out for free.

I had a faulty control pod so called them to ask if they can sell me a control pod. They replied giving me a tracking number and was shocked to see the package weight was 27kg. Emailed them again asking them what they sent me, turns out a brand new system. Amazing!

I sent Logitech a Email today so they should replace the system looks like.

This might sound stupid though will they take the old system back and will i have to box it up once it is picked up.

Thanks for the replies.

I've still got my old system in the loft, they didn't even mention collecting it just sent a new set out to me. This was afew years ago now but I can't imagine them wanting the old set back?
