Buildzoid is doing a series where he's taking a customized 8700k with a probes added and measuring voltage behavior at different loads using an oscilloscope. You can't measure transient behavior through cpu-z, hwinfo64. However these spikes (both peaks and valleys) in between loads are a major part of why your overclock might can be unstable.
He is testing *every* llc option and it's behavior on voltages for each board.
This data is quite invaluable and he's the only one who's ever done something like that is publishing the data.
