Guys! I know we have a few on here.

Would anyone be kind enough to provide me with a detailed photograph of the inside of the boot lid? This may sound like an odd request so I'll provide context.

I bought a set of brackets for the inside of the boot at frankly ludicrous cost for two bits of plastic - these are brackets which hold the plastic wind deflector in place when not being used.

The brackets have two screw holes through them which are designed to screw into the inside of the boot lid. But inside the lid of the Z4 there is nowhere for it to screw into - just holes far too big. It looks as if there is supposed to be some sort of insert.

BMW have absolutely no idea and cannot find anything on the system beyond the brackets they have sold me. They have suggested that perhaps there should be a screw hole already in the boot lid. They didnt have a Z4 they could check.

So, I'm wondering if perhaps it's missing something it ought to have.

Hopefully some nice photographs of the inside of our bootlids might help me :p

Cheers guys!

I don't - its my Mums car.

Best way to own a convertible is to have somebody else own it and borrow it when it's sunny :p

Best way to be Gay is to say your not Gay and then just pop out of the closet every now and again when nobody is looking.
