How many more miles could it stomach whilst being maintained to a high standard?

Not idea really but if well maintained most bits will have been changed a few times, LSD, Clutch, Suspension and the engine would have had 1 maybe 2 rebuilds. These engines are incredibly strong, like a rock and I am not aware of a 996 GT3 lump that went pop. I know of some 997 ones however and I am sure they are out there in the 996 but rare, very rare. I do know of one that was buzzed to 11K and then stripped and stress tested and was perfect and I believe that was 70K miles.

Have you considered a Europa or do you really want to move away from Lotus?

Europa is more of the same, slightly easier to get into with a lower sill but essentially the same.

The other bloke admitted to seeing me come up behind him in the 40 as the lead car was doing 30 and the next time he saw me was after we collided and he watched me going off the road. Changed his story for the insurance company I guess!

Am I right in assuming the CS does not hold value like a CSL'S or am I missing something in that one?? - I thought it would be worth more than that!!

They are in between the two but without the special bits of a CSL. They command a small premium over M3s but nothing like the CSL
