I have something stuck in my brain from a previous motherboard, it wouldn't run the memory in dual channel mode if you had four sticks in rather than just two.

I cant remember which board it was etc....

anyway......

I have just purchased an Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen3 and 4 x 4Gb sticks of Kingston RAM and suddenly thought 'Will i get the full usage of the memory with 4 sticks'

So 'Will i get the full usage of the memory with 4 sticks'?

Thanks ;)

To confirm, you will indeed be running dual channel. An odd number of sticks (ie 1 or 3) would mean you would miss out on dual channel. If you only had 2 sticks, I would refer to your motherboard manual which specifies which slots to plug them into in order to ensure dual channel usage, however you'll be fine with 4 sticks :)
