Hello, I have a brand new build that will not display. All components are new.

I have completed the following steps.

I cleared the CMOS with the JBAT pins. I also removed the battery for a final attempt (10 min +) and held the power button down (2 min) with no powersource to clear any residual power in the CAPS.

The CPU and GPU have both been reset. No bent pins.

I upgraded the BIOS and the flashing between the CPU and VRAM EX Debug Led's stopped. Now it just locks onto the VRAM led.

I have 4 memory modules. I pulled them all and tested a single one in each slot. I also tested another known good DDR4 in each slot with no change.

Both my motherboards (2each - Identical are doing the same thing)

Any advice?

By "not display" do you mean that everything runs (fans and stuff), but you just get a blank screen, OR that nothing happens whatsoever (i.e. completely dead and unresponsive)?

What is the graphics card?

If the fans run:
- If you're using HDMI, have you used DVI or DP?
- Have you tried using the onboard graphics instead?

If the fans do not run:
- have you tried another PSU?

Yes, Graphics card spins up. AIO for CPU is online. All case fans are running. Just no display. I have tried HDMI and the Display port.

The graphics card is a EVGA, 3090 TI RTX.

There is no onboard graphics. The CPU is i9-12900KF

Can you take a pic of the inside of the case? Just to have someone else make sure you didn't miss anything.

Some cards needed an update out of the factory to get display with DP (but since you've tried HDMI, it shouldn't be the issue here):

I will take a pic when home. Currently on night shift. :)

I appreciate the guidance so far. Been racking my brain for a couple of weeks. Pics soon to follow later in the AM

Possible that the AIO cooler is on too tight?
I was looking at that as well. I reset the cpu as i pulled the entire assembly apart and went through it all thinking i may have missed something. Good thought so i backed off the thumbscrews again and did reset them.

Hope this works. Lol.

Have you tried this?

Updating BIOS with Flash BIOS Button
1. Please download the latest BIOS file that matches your motherboard model from
the MSI® website.
2. Rename the BIOS file to MSI.ROM, and save it to the root of the USB storage device.
3. Connect the power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1. (No need to install CPU
and memory.)
4. Plug the USB storage device that contains the MSI.ROM file into the Flash BIOS
Port on the rear I/O panel.
5. Press the Flash BIOS Button to flash BIOS, and the LED starts flashing.
6. The LED will be turned off when the process is completed

Okay. Wire-up looks fine as far as I can see. You do have power into the graphics card yeah? I think it's on the short edge on those cards, hence being out of shot in your photos.

I think you said you tried this already, but I would try one stick of RAM in slot 2 (second one along from the CPU socket). Reset CMOS again. If nothing, then maybe consider running the board outside of the case to rule out something shorting.

I have. Bios is up to date. Ez debug led’s changed from cpu - vram flashing to vram solid yellow is all

I will try running the board outside the case. thanks

I can't see the power connectors on the top left of the board, I think the heatsink or the fans are in the way and the build is cable managed so I can't see the cables.

Can you post your full specs, please? PSU, memory, exact model of GPU, etc.
I will do my best not to forget anything.

Interesting is now MSI has asked to see pics of the RAM so they can test the same with the same chip. They think it may be a problem with the RAM i believe. I have copies of my chat with an onlie rep from CORSAIR assuring me the RAM are compatible with that board. If not i hope they offer to switch the kit for another if MSI responds back that the RAM is non-compatible. More to follow. I appreciate all your direction. Helps me ensure i did not over look something. Hoping to get it online soon. I am building for my daughter who is in a university course for Virtual Reality Game Design. So rendering and more will ensue once i get it delivered to her.
