Z77 Sabertooth Onboard Graphics?

Hi Starting to build my new system, with a 3570k and sabertooth board,
i have a 7970 that displays graphics fine but I try and change to on board graphics using hdmi I get no output, also no IGPU settings in bios and also have updated bios but to no avail, thinking might have to rma

. wondering if you guys might no anything I could try?

Are you trying to use the boards HDMI with the 7970 still fitted?

If yes, then the onboard GPU is usually automatically disabled when a GFX card is fitted.

In the BIOS is there a setting to keep it enabled at all time?

Sorry should have said I have tried it with the graphics card in and out of system.

There is no graphic settings in the bios, there say about the settings in the manual
but are not there on my system.

Does sound odd that you can't see an option and that it doesnt work with the GFX card removed, i'm not that experienced with Asus 1155 boards sorry.

No problem thinking about going for a
rampage formula as water-cooling.

Any z77 board you would recommend?

Well your board can be RMA'd and hopefully the replacement will be fine.

The graphics card option is there in all the ROG boards. I dont have Sabre so cant confirm that but to me you may have a bad bios flash. Did you do it using a stock system and through E-Z Flash in bios on a fat formatted USB drive??? I would be tempted to reflash either way and see the graphics settings appear.

Remember load defaults before and after flashing.

Hi no still no good, flash bios again, cleared CMOS.
Just another point to add that the pcie slot light up red
Without graphics card. It's annoying when you've got issues
Like this I could be fitting my waterblock to graphics card.

Is there an option in Bios to priorities the Intel Onbaord VGA as number one VGA??? Still no??

Have you tried a different or proven good HDI cable???

No option in bios at all for gpu, tried hdmi and display port.
Reseated CPU to check pins seem ok, might have to call it day
And go have my roast.

Nasty .... This burnt me up for a good couple of hours.

It IS automatic but here's the caveat .... Power down ensure that all the charge has dissipated - this took a long time for me.... maybe a minute !
