Anmyone else have experienced this ?
Normally I leave the PC on stanby or at least with power , ie with the MB start button illuminated , and the mains switched on .
However changing the graphics card the other day , And for that matter , when we had the electricity down some weeks ago , the pc will either shut off , 2 seconds after startup or boot to code 62 i think then A9 and hang , leaving no access to bios , as keyboard will not respond .
Yesterday I found the PC would only work on the old graphics card , So I had to put the old one back in , flashed the bios from version 4 to 14 , put the new one in and it worked .
However , I Think I made the mistake of switching the power off at the wall , last night , now im back to square one , though I already have the current bios , and the new drivers for the card , So im stuck as to suggestions , except try to boot it with the cpu intel sandybridge graphics , but even if it works , i dont see that sorting out to boot on the graphics card .
Any suggestions please ?
Edit For the record now , it wont boot or give me access to bios on new card yet the card works , but it will on the old card ???, also not on the intergrated graphics
